Math Fact Fundamentals
We offer math intervention using Fast ForWord (see video) and FASTT Math either in combination or separate, depending on the child's need. For many children, math is the first real challenge to their learning mechanism. And so what might appear to be a math difficulty can be symptomatic of a broader learning issue.
To find out which category your child is in, it is best to come into the center for an assessment.
Math Facts
FASTT Math is a 12-15 minute a day software program that builds math fact fluency, by building automaticity. The software starts by testing your child to assess his or her math fluency then in a methodical manner works on new facts, two at time, until they are automatic.
Math Fact Fundamentals
Program offers Fairfield County and Westchester math help by combining the cognitive building power of Fast ForWord with the adaptive and rigorous math fact exercises of FASTT Math. We work on sequencing, working memory and attention, all critical math learning skills. And on math fact fluency, starting a different place for each student depending on their math fact fluency.
The FASTT Math program is available both in center and at home with or without a coach.

FASTT Math is a math intervention program. The research-validated FASTT system (Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology) helps students develop fluency with basic math facts. The program automatically differentiates instruction based on each student’s individual fluency levels in customized, daily 15-minute sessions.
Students are eager to build fluency in FASTT Math because of the targeted instruction, engaging practice games, and embedded motivators.

Recent U.S. Department of Education report to White House stated that math fluency is required for algebra. The report details findings that math fluency is lacking in our schools, partly due to movement in core curriculum away from dwelling on math facts.
