Our Unique Approach

Gemm Learning provides computer-based programs, at home or in center, that change how children read and learn.  Our difference is that we treat the cause of learning issues, not the symptoms. 

Students can make significant gains in reading comprehension and fluency in just a few weeks.  We also improve behaviors -- focus, confidence, receptive and expressive language and homework independence. 

Who We Help

Children and adolescents come to us with reading issues including dyslexia, and/or with learning issues such as auditory processing, attention or language deficits.  Many are at or above grade level but are capable of more.  We also address Asperger's and autism. 

What We Offer

Our primary intervention is Fast ForWord software, used by a million students nationwide and proven effective in scientific trials.  We develop an individualized program for each child, combining Fast ForWord with reading, writing, SAT and math fact programs as needed, over 3-6 months.  No follow-ups are required as the gains endure.

About Us

Gemm Learning has three learning centers in Westchester, NY and Fairfield, CT and a home service, called Gemm at Home.  We are the largest, private provider of Fast ForWord in the U.S. and the only Fairfield County & Westchester learning center using it.   We have month-to-month and 4-6 month program choices.
