Gemm Learning provides home and center-based programs that change how children read and learn.  

Clinical trials demonstrate significant gains in reading comprehension and fluency in just a few weeks.  Parent testimonials confirm we are achieving these results for our students as well as impacting behavior -- more confidence, homework independence, better focus and a happier school day.  These gains endure as the newly acquired skills are exercised daily.

Who Gemm Can Help

Children and adolescents come to us with reading issues including dyslexia, and/or with learning issues such as attention stamina or language deficits.  Many are above grade level but their parents know they are capable of more.  We have also helped children with Asperger's and autism. 

What We Do

We provide K-12 software-based learning services that target the cause of reading and learning issues, in center and at home.  Our primary intervention is Fast ForWord software, the culmination of 30 plus years of neuroscience that has helped one million students nationwide.  Gemm Learning is the largest, private provider of Fast ForWord in the U.S. and the only Fairfield County & Westchester learning center using it.

How Our Service Works

After a brief assessment, children start at home or in our center on a schedule that works for the family.  On average children spend four months with us, working 30-50 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week, depending on the age and program choices.  At the end of each session, the software synchs with our server so we see every click made.  We provide daily monitoring, weekly updates and monthly conferences and an array of incentive tools to motivate your child.  More here >>
